- Your state's certificate requirementsSome states need information from you before we can issue or report your hours. Open the IMPORTANT - Certificate Requirements module before you finish each course.For teachers
- Pennsylvania: Act 48 and PERMSWe report your Act 48 hours to PERMS for you, as long as you fill in the certificate requirements form in every course.For teachers
- New York: CTLE certificatesModel Teaching is a NYSED-approved CTLE sponsor. Fill in the CTLE form in your course, and your instructor emails you a signed CTLE certificate after grading.For teachers
- Texas: CPE hours and renewalModel Teaching is a TEA-approved CPE provider. Keep your certificates and list us as the provider when you renew with TEA.For teachers
- Illinois: ISBE clock hours through NEIUIllinois requires an in-state partner, so Illinois teachers earn ISBE clock hours through Northeastern Illinois University (NEIU). Request an NEIU certificate for each course.For teachers
- Hours, credits, and district approvalPD hours renew many licenses; graduate credits are what most districts want for salary advancement. Confirm with your district before you start.For teachers
