Texas: CPE hours and renewal

Model Teaching is a TEA-approved CPE provider (provider #902-391), and 1 PD hour counts as 1 CPE hour. Teachers who are certified but not teaching right now can use our courses to renew too.

Reporting your hours

We don't file with TEA for you. When you renew:

1. finish your courses and download your certificates from My Certificates,
2. keep them for your records, and
3. list Model Teaching as the provider when you file your renewal with TEA.

We also keep completion records in case of an audit.
