How seats work

  • Each teacher you enroll in a course uses one of that course's seats and has access for one year from the day you enroll them.
  • All Courses shows each course's seats. For example, 3/5 2 spots means 3 of 5 seats are used and 2 are left.
  • A seat belongs to one teacher. It can't move to another teacher during that teacher's year of access.
  • Enrolling yourself in a course uses a seat too.

When you need more seats

Use an unused seat in the course, or buy more: click Purchase Additional Seats. Request a Quote Now. on your dashboard, or go straight to our quote builder (opens in a new tab).

If your school pays with a purchase order (PO), email it to courses@modelteaching.com. For questions about an invoice or a charge, email our billing team at billing@modelteaching.com.

When a teacher leaves

The seat stays with the teacher who used it, but you can hand their whole account to the new teacher. See Giving an account to a new teacher.

Adding or removing teachers

You can add teachers yourself, one at a time or from a spreadsheet, and remove them from Users, then All Users. Or send us the changes, and we'll make them for you.

A walkthrough for your team

We can walk your principals or staff through the platform on a video call. Tell us your school or district name, the names and email addresses of everyone who should attend, and two or three days and times that work, with your time zone. We'll schedule it with you.
