Browsers, devices, and documents you need

The course platform runs in any current web browser. There's nothing to install.

Browsers

Use an up-to-date version of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Microsoft Edge. Keeping your browser updated avoids most display problems.

Phones, tablets, and computers

The platform adjusts to phones and tablets, so you can read lessons, take quizzes, and use the PDF generator on a small screen. A laptop or desktop is easier for longer writing and for working with downloaded documents.

For administrators, reports and progress pages have wide tables, so a laptop or desktop works best.

Internet connection

There's no minimum speed. Lesson videos adjust their quality to your connection. If videos don't play on a school network, see Videos won't play.

Documents

• Course resources open as PDFs in your browser.
• Templates: Microsoft Word is the easiest way to fill them in, but it's optional. See Filling in your templates.
• Certificates download as PDF files, and reports download as Excel files. Open reports in Excel, Google Sheets, or another spreadsheet program.
