Seeing a course the way your teachers do

You can see the courses exactly as your teachers do by switching into a teacher's account.

If Model Teaching set up your accounts, you also have a demo student account. It's for exploring courses from a teacher's point of view, and instructors don't grade it. If you set up your own account, there's no demo student, but you can still switch to any of your teachers.

Switch to a teacher or your demo student

1. Go to Users, then All Users, and search for your demo student or a teacher. Searching for "demo" finds a demo student.

2. Click the ••• menu on their row and choose Switch To.

   

3. A banner at the top says you're viewing as that teacher, and the menu changes to the teacher's menu. Open My Courses to see their courses.

   

You can also switch from a course's teacher list (the ••• menu, then Switch To), or from a teacher's profile with Login as This User.

Switch back

Click the switch back link in the banner at the top of the page. You return to your administrator dashboard.
